Third Annual CXO Auction Raises $50,000 for the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative

On Tuesday, May 23, NVTC hosted its third annual CXO Auction at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The event raised $50,000 for the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative, which provides tools and resources to match Veterans with employment opportunities.

During the event, attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while bidding on and rubbing elbows with C-level executives from leading technology companies. The bidders competed electronically to win one-on-one meetings with regional and industry leaders, and some auction packages went beyond a meeting to include lunch, dinner, a baseball game and special excursions in New York City.

Winning bidders are guaranteed a meeting with their auctioned executive within 12 months, during which they can gain advice and perspective from C-level executives and pitch future plans.

In a special bonus auction, NVTC auctioned off four (4) tickets to see Hamilton, the Tony Award winning sensation, during its 2018 run at the Kennedy Center.
