NVTC and The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC Announce "Surviving an Economic Downturn and Changing Government Priorities" Event
December 18 Event Includes Expert Panel Session and Technology Showcase Featuring 20 Area Emerging Technology Companies
HERNDON, VA, December 11, 2008 - The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, today announced that its Emerging Business & Entrepreneur Committee will host a unique event on December 18th that addresses a topic that is front and center for all businesses - how to survive the current economic downturn. The event will take place at the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) building in Herndon, Va., from 7:30am - 9:30am. Supported by The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC, a resource hub for technology-focused start-ups and entrepreneurs at every stage of their lifecycle, this event will offer attendees a chance to hear leading experts discuss "survival tips" as well as meet with emerging technology companies showcasing innovative cost-saving solutions.

The event will start with a panel discussion moderated by the Washington Business Journal's Darlene Darcy and include Ken Bartee, Former President of McDonald Bradley; David Wiley, Founder, CEO and President, Widelity; and Matt Goddard, CEO and Co-Founder, R2i.
