NVTC Board Member Marta Wilson Wins Corporate Heroine Award
Congratulations to NVTC Board Member Marta Wilson of Transformation Systems Inc. and Lisa Tompkins of NVTC member company The MITRE Corporation for being named 2011 Heroines in Technology Award winners. Since 2001, the Heroines in Technology program has recognized and honored women who have devoted their time, energy and resources to help our community. During a black-tie gala on Friday, November 21, the March of Dimes and AFCEA NOVA celebrated the accomplishments of 20 finalists, selected for their leadership, impact, innovation and inspiration within their organizations.
Wilson won the Corporate Heroine Award and Tompkins won the Individual Heroine Award. Three other representatives of NVTC board member companies were recognized for their contributions as finalists for this year's awards. Congratulations to Claire Billings and Regina Cotton of Board member company Lockheed Martin and Catherine Kuenzel of Board member company Northrop Grumman.
