NVTC Members Among Winners of Inaugural CIT GAP 50 Entrepreneur Awards
At an awards banquet on Dec. 13, the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) GAP Funds announced the winners of the inaugural CIT GAP 50 Entrepreneur Awards, a statewide award program designed to identify and celebrate the next generation of entrepreneurs in the Commonwealth who are creating high-growth companies. Eight individuals from NVTC members were named winners at the event.
Congratulations to the following individuals of NVTC Board universities: John Christian Herr of University of Virginia and Jack Lesko of Virginia Tech. Congratulations also go to the following individuals from NVTC member companies: Jonathan Aberman of Amplifier Ventures and NVTC member FoundersCorps, Ed Barrientos of Brazen Careerist, Danny Boice and John Bracken of Speek, Duke Chung of Parature and Brett Jackson of LogiXML.
The NVTC members were among 57 awardees selected through a peer voting process out of 272 finalists and more than 800 nominated entrepreneurs.
