Senator John Warner to Be Honored, David Rubenstein of The Carlyle Group to Keynote NVTC Annual Banquet on November 5
Rubenstein Will Speak on "The Increasingly Public Role of Private Equity"(HERNDON, VA, Nov. 1, 2007) - The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, will honor Senator John Warner with the NVTC Chairman's Award for his more than 60 years of service to the nation and the Commonwealth of Virginia at Tech Celebration: NVTC's Annual Banquet on November 5. David Rubenstein, Co-founder and Managing Director, The Carlyle Group, will be the banquet's keynote speaker. In his keynote address before an audience of approximately 700 technology company executives, local elected and government officials, and other special guests. Rubenstein will discuss "The Increasingly Public Role of Private Equity" and what this role will mean for the future of our national and the global economy.
