Senator John McCain, Justice Antonin Scalia, and Carly Fiorina Headline Northern Virginia Technology Council's Fall Event Lineup
Titans Series Kicks-Off September 20; Carly Fiorina to Speak at NVTC's Annual BanquetHERNDON, Va., August 7, 2006 - The Northern Virginia Technology Council, continuing its major leadership position within the technology community, today announced the keynote speakers for its fall event series.
With a packed lineup of top-notch speakers, Senator John McCain will keynote NVTC’s Titans breakfast on September 20, and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will close out the fall series at the Titans breakfast on December 13. In between, many other business and community leaders will keynote in front of packed houses, including former HP CEO Carly Fiorina at NVTC’s Annual Banquet and SEC Chairman Christopher Cox at NVTC’s CFO series in early December.
Also in the fall lineup to address the NVTC membership are John Killian, President of Verizon Business, Lurita Doan, Administrator, General Services Administration (GSA), and Aneesh Chopra, Virginia’s Secretary of Technology.
“NVTC's members have serious interests in business and public policy issues,” said NVTC President Bobbie Kilberg. “With our reputation as the most important local forum for identifying and discussing the local, national and international trends that are shaping the technology community, we have put together a truly amazing lineup that includes speakers who have a track record for making a difference in the issues impacting our lives on a daily basis.”
