The NVTC Big Data and Analytics Committee offers educational, networking, and private-public partnership opportunities, with a focus on applying, leveraging and promoting the region's unique big data technology and analytics assets, as well as informing and influencing big data policy issues. The Committee's objective is to stimulate economic growth by promoting the Commonwealth and the region as a national and global center for Big Data and Analytics capabilities, human capital and leading innovation.
The Business Development, Marketing & Sales Committee's mission is to create an environment where Sales and Marketing leaders from companies of all sizes within the NVTC community will network together to forge valuable connections, share best practices, collaborate on opportunities, form partnerships, and transact business. In addition, we will provide regular opportunities for our members to learn how to employ cutting-edge sales and marketing techniques to win more business in both the government and commercial markets.

The mission of the NVTC CFO Committee is to provide "content and contacts" to NVTC member company CFOs. This mission is accomplished by planning informative events throughout the year and through weekly committee conference calls and meetings.
The NVTC CXO Auction is an exciting event during which regional celebrities and c-level decision makers will be auctioned off to raise money for NVTC's Veterans Employment Initiative, which provides tools and resources to match veterans with employment opportunities in Virginia's technology community.

NVTC members and area leaders from many industries alike attend the award-winning Annual CFO Awards Banquet to be held in Spring 2015. The CFO of the Year awards are presented to CFOs for outstanding contributions to his/her company's performance and accomplishments as well as the Greater Washington region's technology community as a whole. The Hall of Fame Award recognizes a Chief Financial Officer or Financier whose contribution has significantly and uniquely impacted the Greater Washington region's technology community during the course of his/her career.

The NVTC Health Technology Committee provides NVTC members with education, networking, and business and government opportunities to participate in and benefit from the increasing use of electronic health information and technology in the delivery of and payment for health care.
The NVTC Hot Ticket Awards is a fabulous soirée featuring cocktails, networking and the hottest tickets in town. This event aims to celebrate the efforts of companies and individuals in our tech community who have exhibited that 'special something' that makes them 'Hot Tickets' - great vision, the ability to implement and deliver, innovative management approach or star-quality charisma! The event will be held in Spring 2015.
The NVTC HR & Benefits committee's mission is to create a community of members interested in sharing best practices, collaborating, learning about the latest advancements in human resource management, and staying informed on employee benefit issues including developments and requirements of the Affordable Care Act. The committee will hold quarterly events featuring guest speakers and smaller committee meetings for members to collaborate and share ideas in a more intimate setting. The committee will produce an electronic newsletter with relevant content as well as an annual work/life survey, and provide CE credits to those in attendance as appropriate. The Small Business and Entrepreneur Committee supports and promotes emerging technology businesses focused on growth and entrepreneurs launching businesses by providing content-driven programs that address the challenges of establishing, growing and scaling businesses. The committee educates, promotes strategic alliances, addresses the concerns of these businesses and provides excellent networking opportunities.
The mission of the Tech Law and Procurement Committee is to foster networking opportunities and the exchange of business, leadership and legal information for NVTC general counsels and provide mentoring in legal areas for emerging technology companies. This Committee will provide a legal forum for technology companies in the Northern Virginia business community.
The mission of Technology Innovations is to serve as a resource and facilitator for addressing a broad range of technology areas of interest to NVTC members. The committee will hold regular events that feature guest speakers on topical subjects, and examine technical, legal and legislative developments.
The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC is a resource hub for technology-focused start-ups and entrepreneurs at every stage of their lifecycle. The Entrepreneur Center fosters entrepreneurship in students, mentors the first-time entrepreneur, advises and supports the experienced entrepreneur, and facilitates strategic business relationships in the technology community.
This series offers sponsorships providing focused exposure, and linking your company to the leading speakers in the technology arena. Each breakfast draws approximately 400-600 leading technology and associate representatives.
