The Hot Ticket Awards promises to be an energy-packed party, not a sit-down awards banquet with long drawn-out speeches. So, brace yourself for lots of fun and great networking around the pool at the home of NVTC President Bobbie Kilberg! Held on June 25, this event will definitely be the hottest ticket in town!

Hottest Buzz
Who's "all the rage" these days??! This award will go to the company or individual who receives the best coverage (or the most - your call) in the media and in business discussions around town. Time period to be judged is January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008.
Hottest Bootstrap
Which company demonstrated their ability to achieve the "most" with the "least"? We're looking for entrepreneurs who operate from the mindset that all resources are scarce and that Cash is King. If you've done more with less and achieved great results from Jan 1, 2007 - March 31, 2008, nominate your company and show the region!
Hottest Exit
Mergers, Acquisitions, Strategic Combinations and IPO's – one of the hottest financial strategies during January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008 was growth or exit through M&A or IPO. If your technology company had revenues of less than $50M merged with, acquired or was acquired by another company last year or went public, we're looking for you!
Hottest Management Team
The hottest management team isn't necessarily a group of people with impressive bios, but teams that have a sound business strategy and approach. They work well together to complement one another and have the greatest potential to carry out their company's core mission. To qualify, management team needs to be in place sometime during January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008.
Hottest Venture Deal
These VC-backed companies offer the most all-round potential for return-on-investment - a strong management team, great buzz and a winning product or service to boot! To qualify, nominees must have received funding within January 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008.
Nomination Submissions:
You may submit as many nominations as you would like and you may also nominate yourself or your company. Nominees must be companies or individuals who operate or work in the Metropolitan D.C. area.
