Revolutionizing Health Care through Technology

Technology is revolutionizing health care. The federal government's American Health Information Community is providing funds and encouragement for private industry to participate in the increasing use of electronic records and systems for the creation, storage, and sharing of health information. The panel discussed what is happening now, and what areas present opportunities for Northern Virginia technology companies to participate in the over $2 trillion United States health care system. Attendees learned what is going on, and why and how everyone must be apart of the solution to the challenge of providing health care to three hundred million people.
