Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee MeetingPresented by Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee
October 11, 2017
The Internet as we know it touches every aspect of our lives, but have you ever stopped to think about its origins? Robert Elliot 'Bob' Kahn is an American electrical engineer, who, along with Vint Cerf, invented the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the Internet Protocol (IP), fundamental protocols at the heart of the Internet. Today, Kahn continues to transform the Internet, working on computing standards that will have a far-reaching impact on our lives. Most recently, he has focused on Digital Object Architecture (DOA), which he invented 20 years ago, and its integration into leading-edge technologies like the Internet of Things, intelligent buildings, and autonomous cars.
The NVTC Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure Committee is proud to have Bob Kahn as a presenter at its upcoming meeting on October 11. This will be a unique learning opportunity not to be missed.
