Greg Kuykendall is an assurance partner at EY with 23 years of experience serving primarily technology, software, telecommunications and media companies. Kuykendall has spent his entire career serving high-growth, public and private clients in the Greater Washington area. He has assisted multiple companies through the IPO process as well as with numerous other securities offerings and SEC filings. He also has extensive experience serving venture-backed companies, including some with whom he worked for several years, transitioning from a private company through the IPO process and reporting (including SOX 404) as a public company. He has also served as the Ernst & Young LLP East Central Cleantech Leader and as the East Central IPO Leader. Kuykendall currently serves as the chair of the NVTC CFO Forum. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Virginia.
Plex Systems Inc.
Don Clarke is CFO of Plex Systems Inc., bringing extensive experience in leading high-growth companies within the technology industry. Prior to joining Plex, Clarke served as CFO at Eloqua, where he was instrumental in driving increased revenues and leading a successful initial public offering. Clarke was also CFO at both Cloakware, a security solutions company, and at Visual Networks Inc., a provider of application and network management solutions. Clarke holds a CPA and is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Cathy Graham joined 2U in 2012 to mature its financial reporting, forecasting and controls capabilities and to drive the next steps in its capital structure. 2U is an education technology company that partners with leading colleges and universities to deliver online degree programs. Graham led the company's successful March 2014 Initial Public Offering (IPO) and continues to head its planning, public company reporting and financial controls functions. She is a key member of the executive team, lending her financial expertise to strategic decision-making in areas across the company.

Graham brings more than 25 years of experience in senior financial roles, largely in technology and technology-enabled companies. Her experience includes leading four successful IPOs (including 2U's), raising more than $180 million in private equity and closing numerous strategic acquisitions and organizational sales, both domestic and international. Prior to joining 2U, she was CFO for Online Resources Corporation, a Nasdaq-traded $150 million financial technology company, and VIA NET.WORKS Inc., a Nasdaq-traded $100 million international Internet services and web hosting provider. Prior to VIA NET.WORKS, Graham was vice president of Finance and Investor Relations officer for Yurie Systems, a Nasdaq-traded $55 million telecommunications switch manufacturer. Joseph (Joe) Greeves was one of the three original co-founders of Cordia Partners, a leading provider of business advisory, finance and accounting, recruiting and staffing services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. Greeves joined Cordia Partners, on full-time basis, in April 2013 to lead the Recruiting and Staffing (CRS) operations and to provide CFO consulting and advisory services to Cordia's clients primarily in the technology and professional services industries.
Greeves has more than 30 years of professional experience in the areas of accounting and financial services. He has been the CFO of several prominent public and venture-backed companies in the Washington area over the last 25 years. He has extensive knowledge and experience in mentoring CFOs and Controllers, IPOs and raising capital for businesses, public and private company reporting and metrics, financial systems development, corporate M&A, strategy development and governance. His industry expertise includes government contracting, professional services, commercial technology and software development, real estate development, manufacturing, and retail services.
Prior to joining Cordia Partners, Greeves was the executive vice president and CFO of GeoEye Inc. an industry leading, publicly-traded satellite imaging business, which he successfully sold for more than $1 billion in 2013. Prior to GeoEye, Greeves was the CFO of several publicly-traded and venture-backed businesses including Managed Objects, OPNET Technologies, Fusion Systems, and ERC Environmental, as well as a CFO mentor and consultant for Lazard Technology Partners' venture fund. His accomplishments include being named the NVTC public company CFO of the year for 2010 (subsequently, Greeves was invited to be a judge of the awards for 2011, 2012 and 2013). He began his career as an audit supervisor with Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte).
James (Jim) Tholen brings more than 20 years of financial and strategic management experience to BroadSoft. As CFO, Tholen oversees a number of BroadSoft's strategic and financial planning initiatives, including areas in accounting, tax, legal, human resources, investor relations, acquisitions, real estate and risk management operations. Tholen has been instrumental in ensuring BroadSoft's continued growth and long-term viability. In 2010, he guided BroadSoft into launching a successful IPO.
Prior to joining BroadSoft, Tholen served as CFO and COO at NetSec Inc., a managed security services company acquired by MCI (now Verizon Business). He has also served as chief strategy officer and CFO for CareerBuilder.com and was a founding member of CareerBuilder's board of directors.
In 2012, Tholen was named as CFO of the Year by the Tech Council of Maryland, and in 2009, he was selected as CFO of the Year by NVTC. Tholen is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Millennial Media (NYSE-MM) and Spectra Logic.
