Cherian Abraham is the principal analyst/co-founder at DROP LABS, a mobile commerce strategy and advisory practice providing strategic and expert knowledge of mobile payments to financial institutions, retailers and the emerging payments industry. He leads the mobile payments and mobile commerce practice, and is responsible for product and business strategy, customer experience, market analysis and research. He blogs at DROP LABS and Mobile Payments Today and is on the editorial board at E-Finance & Payments Law & Policy, an international legal journal focused on online banking and payments.
Director - Mobile Commerce
Ashish Ashtekar is director - mobile commerce at Verizon Wireless. For the past 3 years he has been closely involved in Verizon's initiatives in mobile commerce including the incubation and creation of the ISIS joint venture between Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. He also led Verizon's partnership with American Express (Serve) that marked Verizon's entry into remote commerce. Currently, he leads Verizon's efforts in carrier billing, remote and proximity commerce. Prior to Verizon Wireless, Ashtekar held product development roles at Silicon Valley companies such as Yahoo!, Actuate and Cellnet Data Systems. He is the author of four patents in Internet-based technologies.
Ashtekar holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a master's degree in computer science from University of Louisiana and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune, India.
Darren Feeley is responsible for setting visionary goals and strategic direction of GeoPay Inc., which is a mobile money solutions company for international markets. As CEO, Feeley is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company bottom line, corporate strategy and business development, as well as investor relations. Feeley has more than 15 years of experience as an Internet and technology executive.
He was also the CEO of Pivotal Information Technology Inc., a technology solutions firm founded in 2007. Pivotal creates technology strategies and delivers implementation plans for the Fortune 1000. Feeley was the founder of Navigation Consulting, a business operations and management consulting firm focused on driving new media companies strategic growth. For 12 years, he worked at the corporate and AOL division of Time Warner where he held various management positions during the company's explosive growth. During his tenure at AOL, he had responsibilities that included business and technology strategy, corporate planning, acquisition integration and international ventures. Feeley is a graduate of West Virginia University and serves on a number of boards.
Senior Product Manager of Mobile Commerce
Sai Ganesamoorthi is a senior product manager at Sprint's mobile commerce group that is focused on the marketing and product management activities of innovative mobile commerce solutions for both the postpaid and prepaid brands. Ganesamoorthi is also a member of a small group of MBAs in Sprint's MBA Leadership Development Program. His wide experience in mobile commerce includes product solutions such as the Sprint Mobile Wallet, carrier billing, NFC-based commerce and non-commerce solutions, mobile bill payment solutions and value-added services within the wallet. Prior to his current role at Sprint, Ganesamoorthi worked for Cisco Systems and Emerson Electric where he held a number of technical leadership, engineering and customer support roles.
Ganesamoorthi holds an MBA from Cornell University, a master's degree in engineering from South Dakota Tech and a bachelor's degree in engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, India. He has been awarded four patents for his innovative ideas in the areas of resource allocation algorithms, computer networking and industrial process control.
TNT Advisory Group
Barry Toser is the president of TNT Advisory Group, a business development consulting firm that assists telecom and technology companies with their growth and expansion plans. Toser also is the president of the TelecomHUB, a networking organization for telecom and technology professionals that he co-founded in 1999.
Prior to TNT, Toser was the head of global M2M solutions for Giesecke & Devrient (G&D), a leading provider of mobile security products and services. At G&D, Toser's team marketed a dynamic M2M platform to mobile network operators and enterprise customers. Before this, Toser was the CEO of Mobilians International, an early-stage company in the m-commerce and mobile payments space. He also served as EVP and general manager of the Telecom Services Division of TNS, a leading provider of communications services to the telecom industry. Under Toser's direction, the Telecom Services Division nearly tripled its revenues. In addition, Toser spent five years in executive positions in the international carrier market, and he also led various sales and marketing teams at Sprint and Cable & Wireless over a 15-year period.
