Nancy McCarthy is the president of DC Rainmakers and is a dynamic, result driven sales consultant and coach who turns executives into Rainmakers who significantly increase profitable revenue. Working in creating strong leaders in the sales, management and other areas that support the customer, she moves companies up a level to achieve their goals. The average profitable revenue increase for her clients is 40%, some Clients have achieved up to 311%. Everywhere she goes she increases team spirit and causes transformation.
DC Rainmakers is in its 7th year successfully coaching and consulting with many customers staying for several years. Clients include: LexisNexis in 2 divisions with sales teams and management; Sprint Business Services; GE and many small tech firms. Nancy works with CEO's and Executive teams to achieve their business goals by creating and adjusting strategies and tactics. Her business philosophy is a direct and practical business approach to help clients evaluate and coach their teams to build sustainable profitable revenue. Nancy hosts a C-level Rainmaker Roundtable each month at the Tower Club to discuss relevant issues and identify solutions. In addition, she is writing her monthly column for a second year at the Washington Business Journal.
She has 20+ years of award winning sales and management experience at General Electric in the Satellite Division, LexisNexis and McGraw-Hill. She opened new markets in most of her positions breaking through quotas with a track record of performing consistently in the top 1%. Her experience includes selling services and products to both commercial and government markets in a technical and non-technical environment.
Nancy holds a B.S. in Business with work toward her MBA at the University of Maryland.

Metaxas honed his sales and management experience at industry-leading companies including Enterasys Networks, Con Edison Communications, Westcon, Inc., US Robotics/3 Com and Wang Laboratories, where his teams consistently overachieved company revenue objectives and successfully penetrated marquee enterprise, government and channel accounts. As President and CEO of MetaPartners he has helped organizations such as Juniper Networks, Akamai Technologies and Westcon Group Inc. capture new markets, innovate their sales and marketing and drive new business by focusing on solutions that drive end user business dynamics.
CGI Federal's Solution and Business Development Organization
Gregg leads CGI Federal's Solution and Business Development organization, focusing on sales operations; marketing and communications, solutions incorporating managed services, business intelligence, enterprise content management, and IT security.
While at AMS (acquired by CGI in 2004), Gregg performed lead roles in the implementation and delivery of Enterprise Solutions for clients such as the Canadian government, Bell South and the Los Alamos National Laboratories. He also led the company's acquisition practice which provides federal agencies with contract administration, purchase order and solicitation management and strategic sourcing solutions.
Gregg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from James Madison University. He is Chairperson of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) Managed Services Task force and is a frequent speaker at IT industry conferences on the topics of financial management, acquisition management, and managed services.
Gregg has over 17 years of experience in technology and business consulting with CGI, and its predecessor company, AMS. Prior to being appointed to his current position, Gregg was Vice President of Managed Services where he was responsible for growing CGI's ability to capture and deliver large outsourcing deals. Under his leadership, the company was awarded several large, financial management managed services contracts with EPS, GSA, and U.S. Courts, valued in excess of $250 million.

Michael is Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Chief Strategy Officer at Attain. He brings to the company more than two decades of the experience and skills required to build a world class business development and capture organization and establish Attain as a leading professional services firm in the Federal, State and Local, Higher Education and Nonprofit markets.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Michael is responsible for leading Attain's corporate strategic planning activities based on a keen understanding of industry trends, major government initiatives and technology innovation that will best serve its customers.
For the last 22 years, Michael has served in various leadership roles at SRA International, Inc. and played an integral role in growing SRA from a business with less than $30 million in revenue to a more than $1.6 billion enterprise. Prior to joining SRA, Michael worked for GTE Government Systems, where he focused on delivering systems engineering and technical sales support to Air Force command and control programs.
Michael has participated and is active in numerous industry associations. He serves on the TechAmerica Public Sector Board of Directors, is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) D.C. Chapter, Professional Services Council and Northern Virginia Technology Council. He also served as Chair of the Executive Biz 4 x 20 Business Development Committee in 2009.
Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Rochester and a master's degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University's Executive High Technology Program.

Kevin serves as the vice president of the Federal Systems Integrator Sales for IBM Federal. During Kevin's twenty plus year career at IBM, responsibilities have been in the areas of Project Management, Delivery, Marketing, and Contracts while providing customer's data processing services and information systems in the commercial, international and government (Federal/State & Local) environments.
Prior to joining IBM, Kevin spent ten-years of his career in the commercial/government system integration, contractual and project management and telecommunications and satellite technology environments.

Gary Ambrose is the Vice President for IBM's Department of Defense business. Since September of 2000, he has led a high performance team that is engaged with OSD, individual military services, and Defense agencies to define and implement IT and mission solutions that leverage IBM's leading edge technologies and high value service delivery skills. His team assists and advises DoD customers in exploiting existing IT investments, linking legacy systems, incorporating highly scalable products, and achieving major improvements in overall mission performance through proven change leadership techniques. Gary brings to the table an extensive background in military operations, logistics, and information technology, in nuclear and conventional missions in service-specific and Joint environments.
Gary's military background included aircraft maintenance, operations, and information technology. He commanded units at the squadron, group, and wing levels. He led the Air Force's worldwide efforts in preparation for Y2K and, subsequently served as Assistant Director of Communications and Information, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He retired from active service as a Brigadier General on 1 September 2000.
