Mission Statement


The Security Committee's mission is to serve as the focal point within the NVTC for the advancement of personal, information, and physical security. The Security Committee has the responsibility for independently promoting and coordinating with the other committees in the development and execution of its mission to inform, educate and stimulate the NVTC membership, and promote their interest in securing our homes, workplaces, governmental institutions.

Topics were discused such as Cybercrime/Cyberforensics Profiling Methodology, Best Practices for Server Security Auditing and Data Compromise, and which businesses are being targeted, and why.
