Please note: You can no longer exit onto Route 28 South from Innovation Avenue when leaving the CIT building. When leaving the CIT building, go left at the 3 way stop sign. At the stop light, turn left onto Old Ox (606). From Old Ox you can access Route 28 North or South.

Directions to NVTC from Central Virginia

  • I-66 to EXIT 53.
  • Sign reads: Rt. 28 Dulles Airport
  • Proceed NORTH on RT 28 (Sully Rd) for 9 miles.
  • After crossing the Dulles Access and Toll Roads, veer RIGHT onto INNOVATION AVENUE.
  • Proceed on Innovation Avenue for approximately 1 mile.
  • Turn LEFT onto ROCK HILL ROAD.
  • Turn LEFT into the entrance driveway for CIT.
  • Enter second garage opening.
  • Take elevator to Commons area (Level 1).
  • Turn left upon exiting elevator, walk through marble atrium, and take elevators to Level 3.

Directions to NVTC from Dulles Airport

  • Take Rt.267 East to Exit 9B.
  • Sign reads: Rt. 28 North to Rt 7.
  • Keep RIGHT and exit RIGHT onto INNOVATION AVENUE.
  • Proceed on Innovation Avenue for approximately 1 mile.
  • Turn LEFT onto ROCK HILL ROAD.
  • Turn LEFT into the entrance driveway for CIT.
  • Enter second garage opening.
  • Take elevator to Commons area (Level 1).
  • Turn left upon exiting elevator, walk through marble atrium, and take elevators to Level 3.

Directions to NVTC from Leesburg

  • Take Rt. 7 East to Rt. 28 South.
  • Exit Old Ox (606) East. Turn right on to ROCK HILL ROAD.
  • Proceed to 3 way stop sign.
  • Turn RIGHT at the stop sign.
  • Turn LEFT into the entrance driveway for CIT.
  • Enter second garage opening.
  • Take elevator to Commons area (Level 1).
  • Turn left upon exiting elevator, walk through marble atrium, and take elevators to Level 3.

Directions to NVTC from Washington, D.C.

  • Take I-66 West to Exit 67.
  • Sign reads: Dulles Airport to I-495 N Baltimore.
  • Follow signs for Rt. 267 West Toll Road to all local exits
  • Toll: $.75 DO NOT TAKE DULLES AIRPORT ROAD WEST.
  • Rt. 267 West, Toll Road to Exit 9B.
  • Sign reads: Rt. 28 Sully Road
  • Toll: $.50
  • Keep RIGHT and exit RIGHT onto Innovation Avenue
  • Proceed on Innovation Avenue for approximately 1 mile.
  • Turn LEFT onto ROCK HILL ROAD.
  • Turn LEFT into the entrance driveway for CIT.
  • Enter second garage opening.
  • Take elevator to Commons area (Level 1).
  • Turn left upon exiting elevator, walk through marble atrium, and take elevators to Level 3.

Directions to NVTC from Richmond, VA

  • Take I-95 North Rockville to Exit 170B.
  • Take I-495 for 11 miles to Route 267 West Toll Road/Dulles Airport.
  • Take Rt.267 W. Toll Road to Exit 9B.
  • Sign reads Rt. 28 Sully Road.
  • Toll: $.50
  • Keep RIGHT onto Rt 28 NORTH.
  • Exit onto INNOVATION AVENUE
  • Proceed on Innovation Avenue for approximately 1 mile.
  • Turn LEFT onto ROCK HILL ROAD.
  • Turn LEFT into the entrance driveway for CIT.
  • Enter second garage opening.
  • Take elevator to Commons area (Level 1).
  • Turn left upon exiting elevator, walk through marble atrium, and take elevators to Level 3.
