Earle Williams

Mr. Williams graduated from Auburn University with a B.E.E., Communications degree in 1951. After serving in the U.S. Army until 1953, he was employed with Standard Oil Company and the Sandia Corporation prior to joining BDM International in 1962. In 1972, he became President and CEO of BDM and served until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Board of Directors from 1972 until BDM was sold in 1997. At the time of its sale, BDM had over 8,000 employees and annual revenue of over $1 billion.

A resident of McLean, VA, Mr. Williams is a member of the Board of Directors of JNetDirect, Inc., a software development company, Emeritus Director and Past Chairman of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts; Director and Past Chairman of the Business/Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC); past Chairman of the Fairfax County Virginia Economic Development Authority; past Chairman of the Naval Research Advisory Committee; and a Permanent Director and Past International Chairman of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). He was a member of the Virginia State Board for Community Colleges for 7 years.

Mr. Williams was inducted into the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he was Chairman of the $200 million Campaign Auburn. From 1991 to 2004 he was a member of the Auburn University Foundation Board and was Chairman from 2002 to 2004.
