John Love joined AH&T in 1989 and is a specialist in commercial property and casualty insurance and risk management for government contractors and companies that have technology-based risk exposures domestically and internationally. In addition to directing the AH&T technology practice, Love oversees several important components of AH&T including the following: the firm's affinity program with the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the structured expansion of its growing government contractors marketplace, its corporate security services including disaster recovery planning, and the firm's automation and web-servicing initiatives. Under his leadership, AH&T has become the largest private broker for technology and government contractor risks in the Mid-Atlantic. Love is a well-known speaker at technology and insurance events around the nation and he has authored numerous articles and white papers. He is a founding member of TechAssure, the first nonprofit organization for risk management professionals specializing in technology products and services, and a Director on the Boards of NVTC, Equal Footing Foundation, Rough Notes magazine and Virginia Business magazine. Prior to joining AH&T, Love was a mortgage broker. He earned his B.A. and M.P.A. from James Madison University and holds the professional designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
