Houlihan Lokey

Jean Stack is a managing director in Houlihan Lokey's Washington, D.C., office, where she is a founding member of the Aerospace•Defense•Government (ADG) Group. Since joining Houlihan Lokey in 1994, she has advised on merger and acquisitions (M&A) transactions ranging from $10 million to $2 billion in transaction value. Her experience includes working on behalf of industry-leading companies engaged in providing products, technology and professional services to defense and civilian federal government agencies, the aerospace industry, and state and local governments. She has closed transactions with industry leaders including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, L-3 Communications, Harris and SAIC.

Select recent transaction experience includes the sale of MaxIT to SAIC, Delta Solutions to CACI, SRA International to Providence Equity Partners, Airborne Technologies to L-3 Communications and Insitu to Boeing Corp.

Stack was selected as Deal Maker, Investment Banker of the Year 2009 by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) National Capital Region.

In addition to her experience in M&A, Stack has advised on financing transactions and management and employee buyouts. She has also provided solvency analyses and fairness opinions to the industry. Select fairness opinion transaction experience includes the sale of Sparta (a subsidiary of Cobham) to Parsons Corporation and the buyout of Booz Allen Hamilton by The Carlyle Group.

Stack graduated cum laude with a B.A. in economics from Duke University and studied at the London School of Economics.
