Stan Gutkowski recently retired after 33 years at Accenture. His most recent position was the Managing Director of Accenture's Metro Washington, D.C. office. He continues to serve as Accenture's voice in the business community and represent Accenture on major community boards. In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Gutkowski oversaw the work of more than 3,000 employees based in the region and led the company's local growth efforts.

Prior to his role as Managing Director, Mr. Gutkowski managed Accenture's US Government practice. He advised high-level federal, state and local government executives on how to transform the way they deliver services to citizens and businesses and how to respond to increasing citizen demands and resource constraints. He has consulted with key governmental organizations, including the United States Postal Service, NASA, the Department of Education, the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Gutkowski joined Accenture in 1973 and became a partner in 1984. As managing partner for its US Government practice and now as office managing director, Mr. Gutkowski represents Accenture in a number of external venues. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the Professional Services Council, Vice President of the Board of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and serves on the Boards of Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, the Wolf Trap Foundation and the local chapter of the American Heart Association. Mr. Gutkowski has also hosted the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Man & Woman of the Year" campaign for the past five years and has served on the Executive Committee for Junior Achievement's "Hall of Fame" gala for the past three years.

Raised in New Jersey, Mr. Gutkowski graduated from Seton Hall University in 1971 with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He received a master of business administration degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1973. Mr. Gutkowski resides in Northern Virginia. He and his wife, Cyndy, have three children, David, Lisa, and Paul.
