Jeffrey E. Ganek has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of NeuStar, Inc. since 1999.NeuStar operates trusted, neutral directory clearinghouse services that deliver essential communications solutions - voice, video, and content - to tens of thousands of independent networks, technologies and communications service providers (CSPs) around the world.
Prior to his tenure with NeuStar, Ganek served for four years as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Communications Industry Services at Lockheed Martin, an advanced technology company. The Communications Industry Services group, which was acquired from Lockheed Martin in 1999 to form NeuStar, provided clearinghouse services to the telecommunications industry.
From 1993 to 1995, Ganek served as Vice President of Asia Operations for Global TeleSystems Group, a CSP in Europe and Asia, and as Vice President of Marketing at GTE Spacenet, a satellite CSP, from 1991 to 1993. Ganek also served as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Development at MCI from 1985 to 1991, and held management positions at AT&T in Corporate Development, Marketing and Finance from 1976 to 1985.
Mr. Ganek holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in public policy and management, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
