Katherine K. (Kathy) Clark was chief executive officer of Landmark Systems Corporation, a company she co-founded with Patrick H. McGettigan. Landmark began as an entrepreneurial venture between Ms. Clark and Mr. McGettigan in 1983 and was successfully sold to ASG in 2001. At the time, the two worked in the Information Systems department of Blue Cross and Blue Shield. They teamed up to develop a performance management application, which was well received throughout the company. Fueled by a drive for success, they began thinking about the application's commercial potential.Ms. Clark and Mr. McGettigan negotiated a deal with Blue Cross and Blue Shield to obtain the rights to the application and it eventually became Landmark's first product, The Monitor for Customer Information Control System (CICS).
The Monitor for CICS soon became the industry standard, making Landmark a huge success and allowing it to enjoy steady growth. Today, The Monitor for CICS is part of an entire family of performance management products for mainframe and client/server environments.
Throughout her career at Landmark, Ms. Clark has been an all-purpose leader. She has been in charge of business development, customer service, finance and human resources before assuming her current position of CEO.

Ms. Clark dedicates many hours to being the best – both professionally and personally. She enjoys biking, running, golfing and sailing and was also a driving force behind Landmark's corporate outreach program.
