Wayne Allan

Wayne Allan is the Site Director of Micron's premier 300mm manufacturing facility, Micron Technology Virginia. Immediately prior to this appointment, Wayne served as the Operations Manager of Micron Technology Virginia. As the Operations Manager he was responsible for ramping the Virginia manufacturing operation to full production of 300mm DRAM and NAND Flash.Wayne joined Micron as an operator in 1987. Over the past twenty years, he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions within engineering and operations, including Production Manager at Micron Technology Italia and Worldwide Manufacturing Integration Manager.
He has extensive experience in operations management, developing and executing manufacturing methodologies and systems in Micron's fabrication operations around the world. Of particular interest to Wayne is workforce development. He is extremely focused on furthering team member education and advancing opportunities for employee growth within the company.
Wayne attended the College of Idaho where he studied Business.
