Committee Teaming
Nanotechnology, by its very nature, requires collaboration among multiple scientific disciplines. The mission of establishing a regional nanotechnology
cluster will require collaboration from many other sectors, including academia, business, finance, publicity, legal, and government. The NVTC Nanotechnology Committee sees opportunities to work with a number of NVTC's established committees:
- BioMedTech Committee -- to work with this committee on issues related to the convergence of biotech and nanotech; to promote existing efforts to establish a local biotech industry.
- B2G Committee -- to identify government organizations and leaders who can promote the nanotechnology industry.
- International Committee -- to liaison with the local international community, provide exposure abroad for regional nano-business trends and to learn about nano-business trends and market opportunities abroad.
- Capital Formation Committee -- to explore financing and investing issues and opportunities in nanotechnology and to help that emerging community understand the industry and its opportunities.
- Government Affairs Committee -- to assist the NVTC Government Affairs Committee in advocating state and local policies to help the nanotechnology industry grow.
